Hi Friend! I'm Alisa!

A multi-passionate creative who’s been in the beauty business since 1998…so yeah, you could say I’m pretty committed. I bring passion and heart to every guest I serve. I don’t do stuffy or uptight as it’s just not in my nature. In my chair, we have fun… and lots of it. I’ve laughed so hard with clients I almost peed myself (I mean, I’m at that age now, no judgment), but I’ve also cried with them through life’s tough moments… theirs and mine. I invest my whole heart into every woman who sits in my chair. You become an important part of my life. Many of my guests have been with me since I moved here from Wisconsin back in 2002, but I’m always looking for new people who are searching for their forever hair bestie.

 

But my life isn’t just about being a stylist. I’m also a Certified Usui Reiki Master and a Certified Life and Business Coach. I’ve had the honor of helping others find clarity and confidence on their paths to success. And if that doesn’t make me multi-faceted enough, I also hold a personal training certification and create customized workout and meal plans to help others thrive inside and out. I believe self-care is more than just great hair, it’s the whole package: mind, body, and spirit. Creativity and fun (with plenty of laughs) fuel everything I do, and I’m constantly seeking new ways to grow, inspire, and empower others in this thing we call life. 

 

When I’m not in the salon, that’s when things get a little wild… literally. I live life with unapologetic passion and just the right amount of danger sprinkled in. I’m an avid traveler with a deep love for exploring new places, cultures, and food. I’ve summited Mount Kilimanjaro (the world’s highest freestanding mountain) and trekked Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Ri. My next big goal? To summit a mountain over 22,000 feet in 2026. I love pushing myself out of my comfort zone because that’s where the magic usually happens. Also, my ADHD doesn’t keep me still for too long. Ha!

 

I’m a dedicated fitness enthusiast who works out daily to keep my sanity (and my legs ready for the next adventure). You could say I’m an adrenaline junkie. I’ve gone diving with great white sharks in Africa and abseiled off Table Mountain just for fun. When I’m not in salon or off jet-setting, you can find me designing and decorating my new home, diving into DIY projects, or exploring new coffee shops and restaurants…so if you’ve got a good recommendation, I’m all ears.

 

On the calmer side, I love reading, listening to audio books, watching True Crime, and doing my best to keep my plants alive (it’s touch and go some days). I’m also obsessed with all kinds of creatures, especially dogs and African wildlife. The name Wild Mane Salon was inspired by my love of travel in Africa and my belief that everyone should live a wildly authentic and fulfilled life full of adventure, growth, and plenty of laughs. And so… Wild Mane Salon was born.
